Walking the Talk: Sunday September 13th

MEET at the M SHED BRISTOL DOCKS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13th 11 o'clock
Bristol Slavery Trail
Update
Update on the Bristol Slavery Trail Walk - a note from my brother-in-law: 'it's Bristol Half-Marathon and the roads near to M Shed will be closed due to the race. Anyone driving into Bristol will need to park at sites indicated and then make their way to M Shed on foot. The farther away they park the less likely they are to be caught up in traffic congestion. It is possible to move about although there will be certain spots that are likely to be busy.'
I'll leave it to your judgement as to whether you wish to be there on Sunday - but I will repeat the walk in the autumn/early winter, and I will be there on Sunday at 11.
In a lot of ways, the fact that the half-marathon is going on will make the walk even more memorable: the interplay between past and present; the strange juxtapositions of so many things, and  the unfortunate ironies that we shall encounter in the streets.
